My name is Steve, and I’m the founder and editor of Safari Crafted. Let me share a little bit about myself.
I come from a large family, and we were lucky enough to go on vacation once or twice a year. Every time we traveled, my family always relied on me to handle the planning—finding great places to stay, choosing the best restaurants, organizing activities, and managing transportation. I quickly became the go-to person for anything travel-related.
As I got older and started taking trips with friends, nothing changed—I was still the one leading the planning efforts.
In 2014, I took my first solo trip to Paris, France, and had such an amazing experience that I began writing about it for other websites. As my travels continued, I decided to bring all my stories and tips together in one place—and that’s how Safari Crafted was born.
Though I travel to other destinations, I decided to focus on Europe since it is my favorite continent to travel to and that is also where I have travelled to the most.
